L.T.  Hampel Corp. makes industry list.
For the L.T. Hampel Corp., a recent ranking in an industry publication was not a surprise, but a goal achieved.
L.T. Hampel Corp., located at W194 N11551 McCormick Drive in Germantown, was founded by Lance T. Hampel in 1976 and employs 130 people at its 200,000-square foot facility.
The company specializes in heavy gauge thermoforming, a process in which a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable temperature and formed to a specific shape in a mold. Vacuum forming, pressure forming and twin-sheet forming are all areas of expertise for Hampel.
