Advanced Deep Draw Capabilities & Award Winning Product Line
Calf- Tel’s Pro & Deluxe calf hutch models are the best example of Hampel’s deep draw capability. With a draw ratio of 3:1, the roughly 3/8” thick starting sheet is drawn down to 1/8” finished thickness.

Steelspan — Steel Reinforced Pallets
Steelspan is a patented steel reinforced pallet that has the integrity of injection molded structural foam pallets with significantly lower tooling costs. Patented Molding Processes
Hampel has developed and an Offset Twin Sheet Molding Process. This patented process enables Hampel to reinforce a specific area of a part without having to reinforce the entire part, minimizing the amount of material needed while providing maximum strength to the part.
Published Research
Hampel shared its innovative spirit for the betterment of all thermoformers with the commissioning and completion of a collaborative research project with the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee College of Engineering to develop a mathematical model to aid in the understanding of thermoforming cooling rates. This research was published by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and presented at the 2010 International Mechanical Conference and Exposition in Toronto, Canada.
